Something steamy

We like to look at repetitive or very similar things. Therefore, stylists and decorators decorate dressers with twin table lamps, hang a pair of sconces at the bathroom mirror or complement the bed linen with an even number of identical pillows. But here it is important not to get carried away and take pairs of something small, otherwise the interior may turn out to be dry and formal.

In the bedroom near the window

Although psychologists recommend not to have a workplace in the bedroom — it is still a room for relaxation, not for work — this option is quite practical. In this bedroom, designers from the Carmine Home studio have placed a workplace near the panoramic window, so it does not particularly catch the eye from the bed. In order not to overload the bedroom and leave it more of a place for relaxation, we chose a small desk, minimalistic shelves and a local lamp.

In the apartment, I would like to allocate a place for a comfortable sleeping place and for receiving guests, even if it is a small one-room apartment. Here the question arises: should I put a bed or a folding sofa? We understand the pros and cons of each option.

Bed
The bed is an ideal option for sleeping, especially for daily use. You can choose a mattress of the right stiffness for it — it supports the body in the right position and allows you to get enough sleep. In addition, the mattress can be replaced with a new one at any time, thereby updating the sleeping place.

It is easier to choose the right bed width or order an increased length. Keep in mind that the minimum comfortable width of a sleeping place for two is 160 cm. Another plus is that the bed will easily become an additional storage space. In models with lifting mechanisms or drawers, it is convenient to store boxes with shoes, winter clothes, and spare blankets.

Rug

It's nice to wrap up in a soft blanket while watching horror movies — and it doesn't seem so scary anymore. In addition, orange textiles will become a cool color accent in addition to the pumpkin, the main attribute of the October holiday

Due to the rains in the off-season, the house has to be cleaned more often. Dirty shoes, wet outerwear and accessories create real chaos in the hallway, and all this then spreads throughout the apartment. We suggest minimizing the consequences — we share ideas that will help maintain cleanliness.
