Pisces by Zodiac

The sign that closes winter and closes the entire annual life cycle, — it is the sign of Pisces.

A new beginning involves a phase of change, disorder, in which ideas, dreams, imagination and inspiration reign supreme.

A distinctive feature of Pisces is the ability to metamorphose, to adapt (which sometimes leads to chaos), to empathically merge with the outside, even to the point of self-forgetfulness; sometimes it is difficult to recognize and respect boundaries, as well as reality and fantasy, self and other. It is a unifying vision of opposites that gives this sign imagination and creativity, as well as great empathy for others and the collective unconscious.

A criterion that works for everyone, for irreconcilable Pisces is an incentive to search for an alternative, having achieved which, however, he loses all interest, immediately projecting himself onto something else.

Sibania Pisces

The sign of Pisces is the most emotional of the zodiac signs, so he sits hugging his knees in an almost defensive position, but looking up to the future or dream.

Its unusual and the asymmetrical dress represents the sign's imagination, muted in the print but permeating throughout. The tulle panels, characteristic of Water signs, follow the drapery of the skirt and repeat the dualism of the sign: a large drop contrasts with two smaller ones, in front and behind, like the head and fin of a fish. The hair, gathered to the side, opens into two regular curls at the shoulder, reminiscent of the iconography of Pisces.

The colors of the sign are purple and light blue, contrasting shades in the two parts of the bodice and repeating with print and shades of tulle. The hair is black, like the winter sign, and the purple eyes resemble the color of the element Water, which is also noticeable on the base.

The Pisces symbol is reflected in the bodice, consisting of two asymmetrical round parts connected by a central strip of tulle.

Each product, created by Sibania, is unique both in terms of the process of realization of each individual product and in terms of production technology, which boasts that it has no analogues and makes imitation difficult. Each piece is made and painted by hand in the Sibania workshop located in Vicenza (Italy). All clothes are made of thin layers of porcelain, onto which various textures are applied. These layers are cut according to the characteristics of each individual template. They are sequentially carefully applied to the body of the figurine. The hairstyles are also handcrafted based on the unique features of each figurine. Faces, clothing and accessories are painted on the biscuit using non-toxic paints. Finally, the product is baked one last time (“third firing”). Any additional details, such as violin strings or Vespa stands, are then applied to the finished product.

All Sibania porcelain figurines are created strictly by hand. This means that even if the original model is faithfully reproduced, each figurine will be slightly different from all other similar ones, such as in drapery, hairstyle or painting.

Thus, Each Sibania product is unique and is characterized by exceptional attention to detail, high quality materials and the confidence that it is a handmade product, which is also confirmed by the markings that are placed on each product, such as the “made in Italy” stamp and the Sibania logo.
