Each piece is made and painted by hand in the Sibania workshop located in Vicenza (Italy). All clothes are made of thin layers of porcelain, onto which various textures are applied. These layers are cut according to the characteristics of each individual template. They are sequentially carefully applied to the body of the figurine. The hairstyles are also handcrafted based on the unique features of each figurine. Faces, clothing and accessories are painted on the biscuit using non-toxic paints. Finally, the product is baked one last time (“third firing”). Any additional details, such as violin strings or Vespa stands, are then applied to the finished product.

All Sibania porcelain figurines are created strictly by hand. This means that even if the original model is faithfully reproduced, each figurine will differ slightly from all others of its kind, such as in drapery, hairstyle or painting.
