Product Code Generator addon allows automatically generating a product code when creating a product.

Efficiency for the store

The addon automates the process of generating product codes, significantly reducing the time and effort required for manual code entry. This is especially useful for stores with a large number of products. Generating codes based on established templates and rules ensures uniformity and standardization of product codes, simplifying their tracking and management.

How the solution works

1. In the addon settings, you can select the format for generating product codes as well as the code delimiter.

2. Each product category can have its own category code.

3. Each brand can have its own brand code.

4. When saving a product, if it does not have a code, the addon will generate a code in the format (modifiable in settings): Brand -> Category -> Product Number (with the specified brand and category).
